The weather-resistant GFCI duplex receptacle meets the UL/CUL943 (2016) and UL498 (2016) requirements. Engineered with UV-stabilized thermoplastic, it boasts high cold impact resistance. Featuring stainless steel straps and mounting screws, the receptacle's shutter mechanism blocks access to the contacts unless a 2-prong plug is inserted, ensuring foreign objects are locked out. It can be wired to protect all receptacles downstream on the same circuit, offering a long, trouble-free service life with its heavy-duty construction.

Rated at 20A/120V, this NEMA 5-20R UL-listed device meets the UL 498 requirements for weather-resistant receptacles. The buttons match the face color, and the covers must be used with WR GFCI receptacles in damp or wet locations per Section 406.8 of the NEC code. The LED indicator light provides an end-of-life notification, but it cannot indicate when the power is on.

The Safelock function ensures that the reset button will not engage if the protection has been compromised. The LED indicator light gives a quick notification of a tripped or "end of life" condition. Tested to the highest standard, the device will deny power and prevent resetting if it can no longer provide safe, protected power. Both UL and CUL listed, this receptacle offers exceptional safety and reliability.
