The high-impact resistant thermoplastic face and back body of this product eliminate cracks, breaks, and callbacks, creating a finger-safe application before, during, and after installation, while offering a long, trouble-free service life. The child-proof shutter mechanism inside the receptacle prevents young children from inserting unwanted objects into the outlets, ensuring tamper resistance. Designed for quick push-in wire and side wire, the outlet features break-off plaster ears for best flush alignment and break-off tabs for easy two-circuit conversion. The shallow dimensions allow for maximum wiring space in the junction box with other outlets and switches.

Automatic grounding in the junction box is provided by a green grounding screw and self-grounding clip, protecting users from electrical shock. The soil-resistant gloss finish allows for easy cleaning, and a set of glossy white wall plates is included.
